As a nominated agent, you will represent the insurance agency and will be fully licensed to
conduct general insurance sales activities. You will earn a commission for the efforts you put in
to secure customers and sales
A nominated agent will be registered with all relevant bodies and he or she is expected to
perform the duties so expected of any other standard agent. He or she is also expected to
comply fully with the existing rules and regulations of the industry and the governing bodies.

How can I be a Nominated Agent?
You need to attend a course with a fee of S$1,500 which will help you get certified,
registered and trained for a general insurance career

As an introducer, you will a one-time referral fee for every successful case closed as a result of
your contact or referral. There are various levels of fees payable depending on the number of
leads or contacts generated from you. You are not required to be licensed and you will not be
the contact point liaising on insurance risks and matters.
What makes a Good Introducer?
For those with contacts and friends who purchase general insurance products such as cars,
travel or office products such as workmen's compensation, fire etc.
Those who are keen to make a part-time income without sacrificing much time or efforts
Those who are happy just to refer their contacts but do not want to be engaged in the act of
selling
Should I be an Introducer?
You should be an Introducer if you fulfill the above conditions. Furthermore, if you are keen to
be a Nominated Agent, it is also advisable to start off as a Introducer with the Company.
How can I be an Introducer?
Simply complete the on-line form and we will process your registration. You will receive a
confirmation notice and you will be able to start your part-time career as an Introducer once
your account has been set up
